Sharon Drysdale

 

Sharon Drysdale spent 23 years as head coach at Northwestern University and is the winningest coach in Wildcat history. She led NU to three consecutive appearances in the Women’s College World Series (1984-86). She also led the New England Riptide to the 2006 NPF championship. Sharon is the director of the NFCA Coaches Colleges. As a coach, she was active in both the NCAA and NFCA, serving as chair of the NCAA Softball Rules Committee and as a member of the NFCA Division I All-American and Coaching Staff of the Year Committee as well as the Bylaws committee. She is also responsible for writing the NFCA bylaws. Drysdale was inducted into the NFCA Hall of Fame in 1994.
